I have a cad file that I'm trying to get dimensions from. When I get the file up on Master-cam it wont let me do anything to it. I would like to mill the part but don't know what I'm doing wrong?  |

| is it a Wire fram or Solid or surfaces?

| if it is wire frame . you are saying you can not go to create drafting dim for example and pick endpoints and create a dim? Sorry another question what version of Mastercam are you using?

| its Mastercam x What i'm trying to do is take a drawing that has been converted to a MXC file. I found out how to get the Dim. but now I can't creat a contour tool path. I would like to get it layed out, produce the g-codes and take it to school and try to run it. |
