Save as *.stl

Hello

I'm trying to "save as" an art drawing to *.stl file, but there is something that i'm not doing write (I think) so, i'm not able to do this. I get an error message "There are no surfaces on the screen or none have been selected". I also tried Edit--> Select All and then "Save as" but again the same. I need your help.

Try this-File-Converters-STL-Write file-give it a name, then save.

I go File-->Change Recognition (I can't find Converters)
What I get is an error message "Selected file has no geometry".

The drawing I'm doing is from the "MastercamX - Art Training Tutorials" and it is the first tutorial.

I also attached the finished file that I worked with

What I found out is that if I want to save a file as an *.stl it has to have a surface. On simle draing like a glass I go Create--> Surface --> Create Revolved Srface. I select the outline and I have a 3D objet.

Now in the case of an art, how can I create a surface on that ?

Here is how going to the Art option. review picture.
I had made the STL but zipped it was m4egs and could not share here.
But that is a nice bee.

PS (I go File-->Change Recognition (I can't find Converters)) this is for comparing and importing model changes. review the videos that came with the software or go to the mastercam site and down load this video.

Oh ya and for the surfaces you go to the art tool bar and there is an option to export mastercam surface from Art. I am sorry to say you have been picking the wrong options.
If you still have issues let me know.
