Convert .EMCX (academic/educ version) to .MCX format ?

I'm using MasterCAM X academic/educational version at school. The program only saves files with a .EMCX extension (Windows).

I found out that you can't open .EMCX files with the full up version of MasterCAM (.MCX).

You CAN open .MCX files with the educ version, but can subsequently only save with the .EMCX extension/format.

Does anyone know if there's a conversion program (changing the file extension won't work ) to convert the edcu .EMCX files to the .MCX format ? Just doing a cursory glance with Google, I haven't seen anything out on the net yet.

Only a dealer Mastercam key can do this.Do you have a file that needs to be done?

You are correct Cam1 it used to be the same and was not separate file support and lots of people used to take class and get a it was a 6 month version and use it the shops.
So after Mastercam X came out they impalement it.
They had been telling us about this sense version 9 of doing this some time after mastercam X came out.
