Just started learning MC X and I've run into a few headaches. i)Every time I make a tool change, MC X sends the machine back to Home Position. I've been maunally changing the code to fix this problem....but there has to be an easier way? ii)MC X sets all the height offsets to H0. Again I've been manually changing all the height offsets wasting time. Any advise would be appriciated. Thanks, Rob

| 1. Are you using the first release of Mastercam X with no updates? 2. What machine are you picking from mastercam to program and post with. Also what machine are you sending the code to? 3. Review picture.

| For Mastercam to set all of the H values to zero they must be set that way in your tool files. Go click on each tool in your paramters screen and it will pop up with all fo the info about that tool. i.e.; speeds, feeds, tool #, h#, dia. comp #. If you are getting 0's then that what you have in there. |
