| For some reason afetr designing a part on MasterCAM X2 and transfering to machining code on MasterCAM X2, the program is writing the coode upside-down. How do i fix this without manuelly removing the negative (X's) in my programs?? Mike |

| Are you turning? If so you need to edit the post file, and look for a line (near the top of the post), which negates the value of X. I had the same issue. The other way to deal with it is on the setup options for the lathe tooling ( ie top or bottom turret). On the screen setup (mCV9) there is also the option for setting diameter values +/- hope this helps regards |

| what machine def are you using and did you define if it was a lower or upper turrit? Are you tools in the right plane?

| When you design toolpaths are your toolpaths in the +DZ (top turret) or -DZ(bottom turret). You may have to configure the tools in your library, and go into the configure (CNC) utility,, and set your prefereed toolplane. In order to change the value of all X variables, you need to go into the post. As I mentioned, there will be a line (Negative X) which is set to 1=true or 0= false. This was the case for our Fagor 8055 Post. A little bit of work to setup, but once you have things configured MC make it really easy to design turning Toolpaths. regards |
