How to machine this part?

The first drawing look so confuse to me.
Your drawing missing some dimension, radius and depth,

I use Solid Sweep to make an example cut

the profile of the curved surface is defined by a parabola y=1/170 x(square)

the way i can think of doing it is, creating the parabola and then revolving it 360. and then superimposing the resulting paraboloid on the base and then doing a boolean subtraction. or is there an easier way of doing this.?
