Hello guys. I have a (hopefully) simple question about Helix entry in pocket toolpaths. As you can see the helix is off-center so the endmill has to travel trough full width of material when moving to the center of the pocket, after the helix entry is complete. Is it possible to move it to the center of the pocket? I can't find any settings for it. Using MasterCam X. Attached is an image and the MCX-file. Thanks MagooT |

| Create a point on the circle center, then go into geometry for that toolpath, add chain and select that point. That point will become your entry point. Now in the helix dialog box, check 'center on entry point' or some such and it should do what you're wanting. |
