MasterCam 8 help

Im new to mastercam and cam programs in general, I have made a part and extruded parts of it, my question is, when generating toolpaths, I can only make it generate the arcs, it wont do the straight lines or do complete letters, how do I accomplish this? What I want to cut out is the white parts (shading active), help appreciated!

I don't have MC8, But I did cut the white areas in MC9, using the pocket parameters. Here is the G code:

What did you use to make it follow the straight, I couldnt get it to do it, and how do you make part size for the verify?

How do you make it follow a straight line? I thought I found out how, but it starts outside of the part in the down position and comes in down and doesnt complete it how I would like it.

The folowing of the straight line sounds like you are picking the geometry at the wrong end. When you choose the geometry to cut, does your arrow go clock wise or counter clockwise? This determins which side of the geometry you will cut.
As for the stock size for the verify, it is set in "JOB SETUP" , available after clicking on "TOOLPATHS" in the main menu. Your "0" position is also set here, as well as whether or not to "show stock".
