Is it possible to overlay one drawing with another drawing in mastercam,to check the fit between the two of them. And if so how do I do it. Thank you very much Bob Sorry I have X Last edited by Bob Z; 01-05-2008 at 11:11 AM. Reason: more info |

| Hi Bob, What version of Mastercam ? In older versions (9 & earlier) you would want to merge the 2 files and keep the geometry on separate levels and compare manually... In newer versions (X & later I think...) there is a feature called "change recognition". It does exactly what you are looking for and more... It actually helps you update existing toolpaths for the revised part, etc... |

| Copy All Entities to a new Layer. Merge the new part into the existing part. Now you can turn on/off layers to see if they look different. Mike Mattera
