Can't edit fonts in Mastercamx

Ok heres the problem. If I type in some words into mastercamx using create letters and create an engraving toolpath, it does it no problem. But if I delete my tool path and then xform drag some words a little distance and then recreate my toolpath it says chains are open even though I went over the entire letters looking for breaks and didn't see any. Of course I guess I could recreate the words one at a time and maybe move them that way. Any ideas why if I type a couple of words that I can't move them with out chains opening up?

do not delete the toolpath.
regenerate it after you move the geometry.
use normal xform not drag
or adjust "chaining tolerance" value to pick up the breaks in your geometry

As he stated no resion to delete the path. as for using drag that works fine.
