shop just bought this used hmc .mastercam will be used to program it. Does anyone have experience with this control and machine? Just wanted to know if there is anything to look out for. I use the mp master post for our other horz with fanuc control and wondered if this will work with the acramatic 950.

We have a HPC-800 with a Acromatic 2100 fully rotary 7 pallet. We can put large truck engine blocks on the pallet tombstone and bore the cam & crankshaft bores, this is a big machine. I wrote the post for this machine and mp master will not work with our machine. drilling is nothing like fanuc and somewhat complex to set-up in the post, fixture offsets use H values. I'm sure we could use G54. We run the Machine at Cincinnati's recommendations and this works well for what we do. If you need to customize a post let me know I can help with this.
