MasterCAM X compatability with Solidworks 07 Files

I recently converted to Solidworks 07 (From 05). I cannot open any SW 07 files in X. Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

I know I can convert to Parasolid or STEP, but I'd prefer to not have more files floating around than I need.

    Thanks in advance

you need to have at least MCX2 to bring in 2007 and Mr2 of X2 to bring in 2008 SW
