    Setting x,y zero for toolpaths?

I have my toolpaths done, but I need to move my x,y to the top left corner of my part if your viewing it from the top. My part doesnt have a corner on that side, but that needs to be my zero how do I move the coordinate?

x-form, translate, high light (draw a window around the whole part )then move the drawing how ever much it is to the corner in both directions.

or go in to the WCS and make a cope of your top view and make the newone active then you can put in the shift amount there in the lower right corner.

you will then need to go in to the plans on the ops and set the new WCS view and regen.
this will keep your first datum for you to go back and refrence at any time.

I'm not sure I understand how your part is but if you can analyse the distances of all axis from the corner you want to your origine you can move by translate/ all entities/ done/ rectang / and write:x-10.0y2.0z-.5 (example) and regen your toolpaths

Ok I got your file , I created horizontal line quadrant to quadrant and after a vertical line to join the previous line. Be sure your Z is 0.0 in the left column. After you just have to use Xforme/Translate/all entities/done/between pts/ select the new corner and after to origine.I hope it is what you need.

So you know renton Z is below the top of the part. his way of making a line tangent to the arcs is good.

Now to make sure you get the highest parts. Try using this option.

    Create
    Next menu
    Boundry Box

this will make a box around your part at the highest parts. then you use the
    Xform Translate
    between points
pick the upper left hand corner and type 0,0,0 being X0,Y0,Z0 location.
