| Mc user please review my programs on your file the first groups are yours and the last are mine as posted. Take notice I used a true stock corner for the stock. I also used the entire solid no wire and I included the chamfers on the edges and I chamfered the drilled holes when spotting. Also if the part is Alum it will cut in 21 min instead of over 40 min. The difference on what you are cutting is the style and feed and speeds of the paths. So you started this file on wed the 28th just trying different stuff on Thursday and Friday and some on Saturday I see. You grabbed this from which book as I have seen it before just can't remember which one. Later jay

| The part is an exercise from the Mastercam Handbook. I have tried a lot of different settings on this part trying to learn what the different parameters in Mastercam X2 do. I will look closely at what you did tomorrow and see what I can learn. Hopefully a lot! Thanks for your time and effort. |

| if I save the file as a previous version then we loose the paths. I would have to go back in and start the paths from scratch. and I am sorry no time left tonight to do this as I am trying to finish a program for a titanum hinge for a customer. When you use the Create fillet chain option it prompts you if you want to change existing fillets to. say yes or no pretty much. Download this 60 sec Avi and this should answer that thought. http://www.mastercam-cadcam.com/chainfillets.zip
