Hello. I'm currently trying to learn Mastercam and i have a question ![]() How can i machine out the part i have painted in black in the picture? The piece is 10 millimeters thick and the "pocket" i have painted is 5 millimeters deep. I have tried making a rectangle and pocketing it but i'm not getting the result i want, could anyone help me out with this? Also attached the mcx file if that is any help. thanks MagooT |

| cadcam> Thanks! That's exactly what i was looking for could you please tell me how you did it?I tried drawing a rectangle, solid extrude (cut body), and then adding a contour toolpath. But it just goes inside the rectangle and doesn't extend out like yours did. thanks MagooT |
