    Solids Questions

I normally use Solidworks for all my solid modeling. Unfortunately I have to use Mastercam Solids for a project that I am working on. Is there anyway to easily / quickly hide the wireframe I use to create solid features other than moving it to another layer that I then turn off?

No. I always change layers first, then Create the Curves from the Edges of the Solid.

An easier way is to set up your EA (Entity Attributes) so all the Lines, Arcs, Splines automatically go to their own layers when they're created. Much easier than changing layers to create the geometry.

Use hide Enitity , Use "Alt+E" then pick the solid to keep and enter.this will hide every thing that you don't pick that is active on the screen.

There's also a quick mask button to select all wireframe entitys, then Alt-E (hide)

    Mastercamuser,
use screen blank, this is what this is for (quick mask wireframe) and after I make the solid I will use create Curve all edges to create the final wireframe leaving the construction geo. blanked.

Very helpful! Found the Entity Attribute Manager that allows you to do this. Had no idea it existed. Thanks, Mike.

Appreciate the suggestions from Freddy, CADCAM and Steve as well.
