Hallo, I want to cut a wheel of a locomotif on my machine. The outside of the wheel I make on my lathe. But the inside I want to make on my mill. The inside is a pocket and in that pocket are 16 other pockets. (spooks) So the first toolpath is a area clearance toolpath on the first pocket with 10 mm endmill. So far, so good. Then the second time I will do a area clearance toolpath with 3 mm endmill because of the size of this 16 pockets. This will work also, but there is one minor problem. The secound toolpath does not see what already is cut a way in the first toolpath. So my machine is cutting in the secound toolpath the half of the time in air. Is here something I forgot to do. I treid severl things, for example use anthother stock wihch was updated by myself. How do I fix that minor problem. Greetings Wotje |

| copy your toolpath from the first tool and change your tool diameter to the smaller tool. in your contour param select remachining. highlight roughing tool dia and set the previous tool dia in the box, and set your clearance and tolerance i normally use .025 and .005 back plot and set your parameters as necessary
