Yes, at least in X if not 9. I can't remember that far back...
The easiest way would be to create a solid model of what your actual blank looks like (in addition to the model of your actual drive surfaces). You can "save-as" a .stl file after creating the stock model. Then your roughing toolpath would be a surface rough restmill which references a "CAD" file (the .stl) for restmaterial parameters. You select the actual cad (.stl) file in the geometry selection window (where you select drive, check, containment, etc.). |
