| Try exporting your model as an iges. I've had problems with mastercam importing .prt files I think it had something to do with the model tree or the versions of pro and mastercam. Have done it with wildfire and v9 worked fine. Joe |

| I have had great luck with MC opening Pro-e files. What version of Pro-e and what version of Mastercam makes a diffrence.

| The MC is older and did not support that till later.Do you have Mastercam X or higher with the updated Pro-e converter?

| Afri, In 9.1 the Pro-e converter for wildfire is not very good we have saved the file in Pro-E to a .STP or STEP file, and then will imported into Mastercam. I think the latest version of 9.1 mr0105 has the step converter in for free if you do not have Mastercam 9.1 mr0105 loaded it is an option. www.cad2cam.net

| Afri, the Step converter as Steve stated is a free be for those on Maintencance as of the MR105 release when your maint stops on that version so does the converter. As of Mastercam X this is included. I also think the converter works wel as I have done alott of progamming with Pro-e files and have had no issues. once in a while I have seen bad solid files so put it to surfaces and works great. But it has improved for sure sense V9
