Question about layers in X2

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and just want to say that this is a very informative forum.

The other day I way playing around with X2 for the first and every time I tried using layers i got a "members not found" error message. I'm not very familiar with X2 or Mastercam in general because i use Esprit 2006 at my job, but there seems to be a big demand for mastercam programmers in my area so I would like to learn. Any input would be greatly appreciated on the layers error.

I am not sure why you get the error. I have never seen that one.

Let me ask this...

If you press the "level" button do you get the "LEVEL MANAGER" window as shown in the picture ? (click for larger view)



Can you describe exactly what you are doing when you get the error ?

Are you running this at home on a win 2000 box by chance?

I do not get the level manager window at all only "members not found". Weird. If yo have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Until then I will keep on trying to figure it out.

How about the question Cad-Cam asked ? What Operating System are you using ?

Sorry missed that one. I'm currently using XP professional and might possibly be upgrading to Vista sometime soon. I'm going to try and reload the software and see if that helps...you never know.
