XY is always staring me in the face with the Dynamic Gnomon.
When I click on G in any plane it leaves XY as the shaded view.
What is that all about?
MC 2017
Programming for a lathe with live tooling.
The Cplane and the Tplane are right but the WCS does not show a simple DZ plane?
What is the purpose of the WCS in relation to the CPlane and Tplane?
Thanks.

WCS is the view of the actual setup ( in the stationary position )
If you want a DZ plane..... go.... "Planes" (bottom toolbar) >> "Lathe" >> select the direction you want the D+ Z+ to be ( normally, rear turret machine has D+ in the X+ direction )
( you should also get another plane in the "Plane manager"
- NOTE.... selecting another view switches back to XY planes, unless you set that new plane as WCS
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
