| Toby makes a good point. Lots of people will figure out how to cut a zigzag pocket and never try another type. Once they find something that works, there's little experimenting. And I understand, people are in the business of making parts, not learning software. But, It's good to go back to a part you alread did and say "what if I changed this, would it be better?". You've got to try new things. I always thought it was funny when I'd do a demo and people would have a laundry list of features they "just had to have". We'd go down the list and .... Yes we do that, here's how..... Yes we do that, here's how. Then they would buy the software, not go for training and only use the most basic functions, because they didn't have time to learn the right way. It seems they had plenty of time to do it the wrong way. You can fool, with some of these features forever and not really get a grip on them. But with some basic instruction, these features can really open up some productivity doors. Mike Mattera

. They do not give themselves a chance to Improve .If you spend the Money for MC, use it to it's Potential. This is why I started training for a friend at his Shop. His programmer will not change to improve the old programs or work flow . Hence I have access a few hours a week (if lucky I can score more time ) to Play with MCX. I have to admit it is a long road. With the help of buying my own books to study, and Mike Mattera's Videos (Ordered V9 so far, X is Next) learning is a whole lot easier .So far I have enough knowledge of MC to break stuff , but it is a start none the less. If not for impressing this individual with my abilities with BCC he wouldn't have considered me for the position .It will also help to remember the learning material for the next Play Session LOL. Learning a software takes time, will, dedication, and imagination. Get what you can to make this road a little smoother. Or your learning experience will be like this .Cheers!!!!!!!!
