| Most likely if your running V9, get the latest driver first. Then reduce your Windows Graphics acceleration. Right click on the desktop - Properties - Settings - Advanced - Troubleshoot - Slide the slider down a notch. Mike Mattera

| (geforce4 mx integrated gpu) This could be the issue.you really need a better card for Cad. (hen reduce your Windows Graphics acceleration. Right click on the desktop - Properties - Settings - Advanced - Troubleshoot - Slide the slider down a notch.) Really needs to go one above the bottom in most cases.

| Never buy a Computer with an Integrated Video if you can avoid it. They are always the lowest level of video you can get (especially the Intel video chips. yuk) and the always cause problems. Mike Mattera

| The most commonly recommended card is anything from the Nvidia Quadro FX family. They most likely won't carry this in your local computer store but they are available. I have a Quadro FX 1400. This is considered a very solid mid-range card in the Mastercam world. Once you get a Quadro FX there are a couple settings you have to make and then all of your display problems go away. You may be able to get away with less but the Quadro FX is definitely worth it. Do not get confused with the Quadro NVS. It is NOT the same thing. |
