    Default What is UBV…….Simulation Engine…….?

From some .dxf files floating around for the Aztec Calendar I made my own MCx7 project in 3 layers (center ring, middle ring, outer ring) and when I tried the first tool simulation I get this message:

“Tool operation has undercuts. Please select from UBV / File / Options / General / Simulation Engine, 5 axis in order to get correct results”

I did the simulation anyway and the results looked ok to me

What UBV means and where it’s located?

Was this when you tried to Verify it?

Yes it is on the verify screen but I found the solution. On the verify screen under the Options menu, General, I click on the Simulation engine and select 3 or 5 axis (makes no difference which one I select).

But out of curiosity I still don’t know what UBV means?

    Thanks for the help

    Nicolas
