Hey all, I'm still new to Mastercam and I have a question about pocketing solids. Some features that are closed (like a large thru hole) or some that are open (like the seats for a rocker arm) give me this error: "Boundary does not lie in the construction plane" Yet all of my views are the same. What am I missing? Thanks in advance, Joe |

| Pocket will only work if the boundary is flat. Most likely your edge is a spline and "floats" slightly in the Z axis. You can try to "Squash" the spline and then reselect it for a pocket. Mike Mattera
