    Speeds & Feeds

I WAS READING A MACHINST BOOK WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS "ADVANCED METAL CUTTING CALCULATOR IN U.S. & METRIC UNITS" WHICH IS USED IN MICROSOFT EXCEL AND IS WORTH $71.00.

NOW MY QUESTION IS WHETHER OR NOT THIS PROGRAM IS WORHT PUCHASING, HOWEVER I DO HAVE A FEAR WHEN IT COMES TO "CHIP THICKNESS" DUE TO THE STRENGHT OF THE MATERIALS. IM FARLEY NEW TO THE SPEED AND FEEDS AND IM ALSO CURIOS IF THERE ARE BETTER PROGRAMS OUT THERE I HIGHLY APPRECIATE THE FEED BACK MY EMAILS hector_herrera_3@hotmail.com

I am not sure exactly what the program you described would do for you but if you follow this link you can download the FREEWARE Cimco Feed & Speed calculator.
