Tool path and stock set up help needed ...pleeeeeeeease

Hello Friends:

I am continuing my life long struggle to get the machine at school up and running..i believe i have a good post processor for the machine and have set this up in mastercam..

The areas that i am having trouble with is:

1. Creating a stock verify model which is the same shape as my stock.

2. leaving areas of the stock that dont get cut so the model can be manually freed from the stock when the part is complete


So my question is also should i add the supports to the model i create and the surrounding stock or should i do this via mastercam.

Basicall we are going to be performing similar tasks to create protype models out of lets say 8 by 8 by 2 inch foam blocks.. i have included some pictures to help out a bit.The first one shows what i would like an example finished part to look like the second is what the part would look like off the machine and the third is teh stock...

help me please
