Hello IM new here so please forgive me if I am asking a question that has been asked a million times. Here is my problem. Im Milling a flange with bridgeport interact 520 that has a heidenhein tnc 155 control. I use mastercam 9 to write all my programs. Im creating an inside ellipse as seen here. ![]() I want to be able to adjust for tool wear and increase/decrease the size of the hole by changing the tool radius under the tool definitions. I dont know what type of compensation to use where it will let me do that. Here is how I have it set up. tool parameters ![]() lead in - lead out ![]() and it gives me this ![]() When I enter the tool radius under the tool defs it does not compensate when compensation is set to off??? It will cut the same path no matter what radius I put in. Im using "off" compensation. Should I use something else? Last edited by mustangillusion; 02-12-2007 at 04:39 PM. Reason: wrong img codes |
