What is your most commonly used MC function?

What Mastercam function.... I should say; Create Function, do you use most frequently? I use Create, Line, Parallel, Side Distance more and any other create function. I have it assigned to F3. I'm no MC expert and would like to come up the learning curve a wee bit faster.

No, I can't explain why I use this function so frequently.

Create line endpoints if we are talking MC-X or higher.
I see people use the option you are as they like to create virt & Horz lines and finish off by off-setting.

LoL, you should grab the NUKE dll.

I use CAD (Create Arc Diameter) and CLM (Create Line Multi) CLM is the closest I've been able to get to the Geometry Expert in Gibbs.

I don't use either of those functions as much as I use VB Scripts.

File, open, mill, samples, LOL. Still studying when time is available and someone has a shop open late.

Well maybe you should move from V9 to VX2. You might like it better.

Xform Translate Polar. Not going to rant , but CAD systems have really degraded the skills of a lot of draftsmen out there and I am coming to believe that many couldn't define a datum with a dictionary!

Those aren't engineers, they're just people drawing pictures. I get it all the time and it's very frustrating.

I've seen Engineers do this all too many times. They Might be Engineers but Definately "Not Draftsman". My Drafting Teacher from H.S. would turn in his Grave if he saw what these so called Engineers were doing. It doesn't matter if it is CAD or Drafting Table. The Rules Still Apply, LOL.

RE; Engineers
My pal is a machinist at NASA. One day one of the young engineers came down to see my pal who had one of the drawers of this box open exposing his set of 0 - 6" mikes. The engineer wanted to know what those were.
