I use Mastercam 9.1 Mill Level 1. I do these contouring operations almost everday but each contour is alittle diffrent. So I half to make a code for each one. But the Parameters are the same on each one. The only diffrence is the toolpath. I always use the same tool and the same depth and speeds and ETC. I would like to know if its possable to save the parameters and then just select the toolpath it would save me 3-5 mins on each one. If it aint possable then its no big deal but i would be nice. I end up writing 5-10 of these programs everday. It dont cost me aton of time but it would be nice to make it faster. Thanks Eric, |

| Yes, you can do this... I can't remember how in 9.1 though... Try Right-clicking in the operations manager and look for "export". This will save your operation. Then when you toolpath your next part, all you have to do is "import" the toolpath and re-chain the new geometry. Perhaps a search in the help files will help now that you know what to look for... |

| go in to the ops manger and right "click" and choose "Save to Library" then you will have the option to save it with Geo or not. the other option it open you new drawing and go to "Job Setup" then use the option to Emport and go to the last project you did and bring all the tools and ops in from that one and repick the geo.

| What did you finally use the import from another file or import from the library?
