    Default MCAM FEATURE BASED MILLING

What are the limitations of FBM? Can it be used to create surface toolpaths such as on angled surfaces?

I am the only one at the company I work that uses solids and surfaces. I have Fusion 360, which I found makes it really easy with their 3D adaptive clearing toolpath. I would like to believe that mastercam has similar capabilities, and I thought FBM was the answer.

Does Mastercam have anything like 3D adaptive clearing?

FBM supports tapered walls but DOES not support any 3d machining. Mastercam does offer Dynamic opti rough and implies a deep cut with small step ups for 3d detail. Mastercam has a lot of high speed surface tool paths to offer.
