Cleaning up drawings in MastercamX

Is there an easy way to clean drawings in MastercamX. I keep getting a invalid chain when trying to nest parts. I have tried to analyze these chains but nothing seems wrong. Help!!!!!

Rcrabb,
Matt is right on.
Find overlap is what you are looking for hit alt+c on the keybord when Mastercam is running click findoverlap.dll it will then ask to select geometry, select what geometry you would like to clean up. I use it on everthing I import it works great!!!

Find overlap works great. Now is there something that will help me find open chains?

When I am looking for open chains I use "Analyze Chain". The way this helps me is if I pay attention to the location of the chain arrow relative to where I clicked.

If the chain is open you will see the arrow near the open area. If it is closed you will see the arrow at the beginning of the entity you clicked to chain.

The only glitch with this method is if you happen to click right where the open spot is then the arrow appears near where you clicked which makes you think the chain is closed. If this happens I use analyze chain again and chain the same geometry but starting from a different spot. Depending upon the location of the arrow (relative to where you started your chain) you know whether it is open or closed.

All this typing makes it look more complicated than it is... Hopefully you can extract something helpful from my babbling...

The arrow when you chain should start at the closest end point of the entity you pick first, analyze chain will find Gaps, if the gaps are many and small .005-.001 I will sometimes turn my Chain tolerance up so the chain will by-pass small gaps or openings

Go to the bottom of the screen to levels creat a new level #.
Now go preselect the geo you want on another level.
Then right click on levels at the bottom and tell it to move.

Now you can left click on levels and uncheck the level that you made and that will turn that off.
