Toolpath question

Hi, how can I change the start point of my tool paths? From a top view, I want the tool to start on the lower left hand corner, but MC keeps starting it at the lower right hand corner. How to change?

In your toolpath manager, go into your geomerty, right click on your chain, change start point. Then you can hit dyanmic and the arrow of your chain will move with your mouse cursor. This only works on closed chains. If it is not a closed chain then you can do this in toolpath editor.

Thank you much. I do not have a closed chain so I went into toolpath editor and tried a few things. Now there is a "lock" on and will not regen the path?

The reason for the lock is cause you edited the toolpath. Have all parameters set then edit the toolpath to do what you want. Eventhough it is locked it is still a good toolpath, its just locked cause you edited outside of the normal generated toolpath
