Bring your file up on the screen to start. Now using the buttons go to "main Menu" "Screen" "Next Menu" "To Clipbrd" Read the prompt at the top of the screen. Now go open say Windows Paint. Click on "Edit" then "Past" You now be able to save this as a BMP Now go at it.

you're getting that msg because MC's studio portion is meant to display surfaces and solids and not geometry. The "Print Screen button (no ctrl button necessary)/paste into favorite graphics program" is the quickest and easiest way to get what you want.
