I have a brand new haas tl-2 with no turret, as you may already know, using the default tl-2 post mastercam doesn't generate the proper code, the X values come up as mirror.
I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what are the best settings for mastercam and the best way to touch the tools on the machine....
Have you tried placing geometry on the other side of the axis ?
ie lathe with turret at FRONT, X+ is towards front
- drawn ( & selected) geometry is in upper/left quadrant, tools defined as insert to be underneath. Toolpaths at the back... Should give same g-code for your front turret machine
rear turret tool with tip underneath IS same as tool in front turret with tip on top ( when you draw tool, the tip colour indicates top or bottom placing )
