How to hide lines in MC9?

There is a function in menu "Screen -> surf disp -> Solids to hide the lines on the back of a single solid.

But when there are 2 solids, the upper one cannot cover the lower solid. May I know how to make the line covered become hidden?

I think I know what you are talking about but not positive since I never used that in V9. I do use it in X though and I don't believe you will be able to get it to hide "lines" on the "visible" side of a part that is covered by another solid.

If you must have a correct view, perhaps you could use the solid layout feature and create a 2-D view. Those come out correctly even when using multiple solids.

Thanks Matt. That's already help a lot. I just want to make some simple picture for the manual, which must supress all hidden line~

I think you can press the "shift" key to choose the line you want.
