What is point of origin of T plane and C plane on mastercam 9? Also how do you control the point of origin? Thanks

The Origin is XYZ 0.0
you can control it by translating your geometry inside mastercam

There's about a gazillian different ways to do it in Mastercam. I prefer to use the WCS manager to create my own, which are associated with geometry, (one line representing X positive, on representing Y positive) allowing me to move that geometry instead of moving all the geometry for the part if I want to change orientation or location. Do a search for "WCS TUTORIAL" to see how this is done.

The tool plane and C plane need to match if you are picking geo for setting depths or you will get the wrong depths from the C plane compared to the T plane be a diffrent datum location.

Tool plane example say front then program from there on a 4th axis rotory this tells MC that there is a change in the Plane to the location not pull tool up and index the "Aaxis" A 90.0 and continue cutting.
