Is this a result of playing around with the operations libraries? Have you tried saving as new file name and delete one operation and trying again to identify the culprit?

did not mess with the operation libraries on this machine. saving with a new file name does not help. removing the operation and redoing it works. i have not had a machining operation go corrupt before. i have had plenty of files get corrupted.

I had the problem before in X3. And like you, had to delete the particular operation and recreate it. If I recall, I reselected some geometry, then edited the geometry before regenerating the tool path. X3 went nuts when trying to regenerate then. So, I deleted that operation and remade it. Worked fine after that.
