    Learning .MMD, .SET programming/editing

What is a good resource to learn Mastercam X5(.MMD) Post programming/editing, or (.SET) in a tutorial format that does'nt require a classroom, or is not the Mastercam Reference Manuals. I have seen a neat setup sheet that was produced with a modified MILL.SET post.
    Thanks

You can always ask specific questions here. But I doubt anyone has time to give you step by step from beginning to end instructions.

i don't want to use trial and error and waste time with mastercam setup sheets. i am a stubborn mule who stupidly thinks setup sheets should be easy to configure. i use the free x+ add in for setup sheets. i save trial and error for other parts of mastercam where i think my time is better spent and the reward is better. just my opinion. take it for what it is worth which aint much.

Jackman, I agree with you about investing the time and effort to edit posts. The X+ file you mentioned is the one from eMastercam?

Jackman, I have that add on installed, the setup sheet looks ok, how do you get rid of the logo, and it is customizable?

to customize the x setup sheet push the setup sheet button on the x+ toolbar; look on the bottom of the dialog box window that opens. select the 'available parameter' you want and use the green arrow that points to the right button to move them to 'selected parameters'. rinse and repeat. to remove any parameters you don't want in your setup sheet use the button that has the red arrow on it that points to the left. rinse and repeat. then order the parameters how you want with the up and down buttons. the setupsheet is html. to change the logo edit the html source code or i guess style sheet. others can help you better with that. not my thing. sorry.
