Open a Windows Explorer window. Locate the file you would like to upload. Highlight that file with a left click. Then right click on the file and a menu should pop up. Left click on Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. Windows should compress this file into the ZIP format. You will find the zipped file in the same folder as the original with the same name, just now it will have the ZIP extension.
