    Mastercam X5 Machine simulation

Why is Mastercam machine simulation so slow on my PC.

I just can't belive it how it uses system resources.

If you have anny advice how to get it faster. Every time in material mode it slows down so it's useless.

    My PC : Intel i5 @ 3.15 GhZ
    4 GB DDR3 @1600 MHZ
    GTX 460 (1GB)

It renders annything but Mastercam NO? Why.

    Thanks in advance

What is your machine(mill lathe, etc)?

I only ask because unless it is just the most odd setup ever for the average 2,3,or4 axis machine all you need is the verify.

5 axis machine....get vericut. I think the mastercam machine simulator will get better in time...but it is nearly pointless imo right now.

Yes i need it for 5 axis milling.
Machine is Huron Yoti K2X8Five (rotary table vertical spindle).

The thing is i am new to Mastercam and i am still learning it so Machine simulation would be really helpfull if it only could work as it should.

I am not interested in geting Vericut just for learning Mastercam but i understand what you are saying verify is good enough for start.
But i like how the machine simulation looks too bad it doesnt work

Can you show a snap shot or share your file. I find on my computers I have to always slow it down as it wants to go really fast. What is the graphic card?
But all 3 of my main programming box are built for cadcam.

There is nothing special to my toolpath i think.
Maybe surface finish blend with 0.15 scalop for finishing is the problem or i need new card please what do you think.
    Thanks
