    Prevent unwinds?

Does anyone know a way of biasing the tool axis vector to attempt to prevent unwinds? A lot of my 5 axis toolpaths will contain at lease one unwind. This might be prevented if I could get the C axis rotated 180 degrees and the b axis reversed. An old version of CAMAX would let you bias the tool axis vector before programming the toolpath and sometimes prevent an unwind. I have tried point toolpaths with different WCS's but to no avail. Can anyone shine a little light on this?
    Thanks,

If I understand your problem correctly, I think you have to do this in the Machine Definition Manager. For that axis, you will have to set the minimum and maximum values. Like -180. and +180.
