SolidWorks to Mastercam

Okay so I have figured out how to transfer a solidworks drawing into mastercam but the problem is I cant do much with it. I want to Toolpath it but when I get to that point It wont let me select the contour.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The problem is most likely...you have a solid. MasterCam in is basic start up mode want you to select lines. You have no lines/curves with a solid. When selecting tool paths, switch from Wireframe to Solids mode in the Chaining dialog. Another option is to draw in curves with Create > Curve > On one edge. Then you will have line/curves that can be selected in Wireframe mode when Chaining.

Another quick way is to hit "Options" when opening *.sldprt and check mark "Edge curves".

This is how I do it as well. Has been working perfectly.

I make a print out of the model in solidworks, make sure you set your scale 1:1 and the type of units. Then File, Merge/Pattern and select solidworks drawing.
