I do not think the tabs feature saves the tabs as part of your geometry in your source file. You will probably have to put the tabs in your source file manually and possibly the tool path geometry too.
I have a simple rectangular part with a contour around it to cut it out of 3/4" plastic. I put the tabs in using the tabs feature to keep the part from coming out during the process, and it shows in the toolpath when I load the part alone. When I nest it together with multiples of the same part, the tabs no longer show in the toolpath, and I'm afraid it will run it like that and destroy my material. Am I missing a checkbox somewhere? Anyone else seen this?
Using X4.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you nesting Geo or paths?

Heres what I am doing: Toolpaths>Nesting>Parts tab> then right clicking on the parts box area and adding operation clusters. It is adding all of the operations to the layout correctly, but the tabs are omitted from the bottom of the toolpath where I can plainly see them in the part toolpath by itself. so strange.
I'm nesting toolpaths only
