    3Axis HAAS post for X5

Just started a new job, and filling in for the programer for a few days.
I'm told that the 4 axis HAAS post that comes with X5 can be used with the new 3 Axis Haas VF2 that was just installed.

Did not see any 3axis posts MMD or ctl files listed

I saw that Mastercam also has a Educational X5 3 axis post for HAAS on their site. Thought I would load that and compare the two with a small program.
I went the update file route for the 3 axis post files and a message appeared that the post would not be updated as it was already a 5x post. The MMD file did not load but the CTL file did. I just dragged and dropped the MMD file as it is also a 5X format. Guess that can be done as all files areX5?

    Any thoughts?

I'm new to MC , can do the simple stuff he left me. Have used Camworks for the past 6 years

I'd get your Mcam reseller to just give you a haas post...actually, I thought there was one included already???

    Or just download it here:
