Mastercam X5 for SolidWorks will not work with SolidWorks 2012. You will have to wait for X6.

Mastercam X5 works on my copy of Solidworks 2012. I just need some help in setting up my sldprt for generating toolpaths in the Mastercam add on. If you could help me in Mastercam X5 with a sldprt loaded into it X5, that can help me a great deal. If you can e-mail me at cloverfield333@gmail.com i can send the sldprt it to you.

It works. I have a few dozens of freshly machined Aluminum parts in front of me that say so.

    My mail is samial.hasnat@gmail.com.

It would be alot easier to take the sldprt and merge into mastercam I do this on a daily basis. I know it works. Also it makes programing a breeze you dont have to create cures on all edges. Just select the solid aurfaces you want to machine. I know its not what you want to do just my 2cents. I like to make things easy.

I am having difficulty generating a contouring and a surface machining with this part. I could send it to you by e-mail so you can see the trouble that i have been having with it.
