Question for Mastercam X5 (add on) for Solidworks 2012 users: Can someone help me with setting up a 3d part i made in Solidworks 2012 for machining using the Mastercam X5 add on in Solidworks 2012?
Can you be more specific with screenshots?
Better still, if you have an e-mail address, i can send you the actual part in Solidworks 2012. I would like to generate toolpaths in Solidworks 2012 wit te Mastercam X5 add on inside Solidworks 2012. My e-mail is cloverfield333@gmail.com.
Mastercam X5 for SolidWorks will not work with SolidWorks 2012. You will have to wait for X6.
Mastercam X5 works on my copy of Solidworks 2012. I just need some help in setting up my sldprt for generating toolpaths in the Mastercam add on. If you could help me in Mastercam X5 with a sldprt loaded into it X5, that can help me a great deal. If you can e-mail me at cloverfield333@gmail.com i can send the sldprt it to you.
It works. I have a few dozens of freshly machined Aluminum parts in front of me that say so.
My mail is samial.hasnat@gmail.com.
I have just sent you the e-mail, emonje. I hope you can help me with these parts.
It would be alot easier to take the sldprt and merge into mastercam I do this on a daily basis. I know it works. Also it makes programing a breeze you dont have to create cures on all edges. Just select the solid aurfaces you want to machine. I know its not what you want to do just my 2cents. I like to make things easy.
working for me. before you open the model, click on options, drop down box you want to click on the box [edge curves].
