    mastercam X5

    Hello all,

Can anyone tell me if I can make a stock boundary simulating a casting around a 2D parrt drawing in MC-X5 lathe and how to do it?

    Thanks in advance,

If you have the casting modeled, you should be able to set that as your stock.

if you have the geometry of the casting, go to operations manager, stock set up, properties, geometry and pick revolve, click on select geometry. your geometry should be a close chain.
