G & M codes are used on an NC machine together

M codes are used to control the miscellaneous functions of the machine ie coolant ON/OFF, spindle direction + the start/stop etc
G codes are used to control the movement of the machine parts ie G0=rapid, X-123.456 = X axis address + co-ordinate

It is best to used the manuals that are supplied with the machine & control to fully learn those codes, as some codes do differ between machine makes, models, & machine makers

    Not a problem

Find a post processor in your post files for the controller on your machine.
Set up the machine definition for the configuration of the machine.
Obtain a programming manual for the machine / control.
Proceed with caution and modify post as required to get the output you need.

This sounds like a pretty huge disaster waiting to happen...lol.

There are hundreds of thousands of 90's machines running mcam programs.
