Hi All,
I'm looking to hire some programmer for our department. I would like sample of questions that I can send them on email to prove that they are experienced programmers.
I can only phone him or email. So I need tough questions to test him.
Looking forward for your feedback guys.
Thanks in advance,
Isa
Is your company new at the CNC world?
Who is the using department head? his experience?
Are you an human resources / placement?
If you could give the forum more information?
Private message his resume to some of the forum members.
difficulty of parts you wish to make?
20 yrs experience, 1 year repeated twenty times?
OR
A talented programmer who learns fast and in depth from prior experience who makes you money.
You are only as good as the last part programmed.
Do not be afraid to pay for performance. (after the performance)
A good programmer should be paid as much as maybe your VP's
First part should be geometrically perfect, second part perfecting speeds & Feeds, 3rd part should be production.
Contract labor aerospace is about $70/hour + contract house overhead (15-20%)
Just rent a programmer don't buy them.
HR used to be shocked at how much programming cost, (|HI-tech aerospace world) too bad for them, they were jealous.
Been doing this too long
Hi there,
Our company is new to cnc. We are located in middle east so it makes hard for us to find programmers from the locals. So we seek for far east and south Asian countries. I found from phillipens so far. But their resumes doesn't good skills in master cam.
We have DMG DMU 50 and CTX lathe model. Unfortunately the master cam programmer resigned because he got a better offer.
I'm still in the look for programmers for master cam and G-code as well.
Cheers,
Isa
