Thank you for having me in the forum!

I am currently running a Haas VF2 SS milling machine. I used Mastercam X5 and SolidWorks 2011, both as stand alone programs.

I was wondering: for those of you who use Mastercam in SolidWorks, is it a large improvement?

I have good experience in the 3D modeling area, especially with SolidWorks, and months ago I was just saying "Why isn't there a way to make MCX5 and SW blend together as one?", and this seems to be it.

Basically, I am wondering the benefits and limitations of using "MCX in SW" as opposed to using both programs as stand alones. I think it would be amazing to easily see the entire mill/holder setup while in verify - among many other things!
